Ecco finalmente finito uno dei miei innumerevoli progetti della mia lista dei Future crafty projects, una romantica borsina di tela grezza impreziosita da un centrino, da qualche fiorellino (opera della mia mamma) e da un frammento di pizzo.
Questo è il tutorial originale a cui mi sono ispirata, le figure sono molto utili anche se per la confezione non ho seguito le istruzioni (che mi sembravano sbagliate, o forse era solo che era sera tardi ed ero stanca…) ma ho fatto a modo mio.
Misure della borsa finita: cm 33 x 38.
MATERIALI:
Un rettangolo di tessuto per l’esterno della borsa di circa cm 90 (larghezza) x 70 (lunghezza) – io ho usato una tela avorio
Un rettangolo di tessuto per la fodera di cm 75 x 50 – io ho usato del taffetà avorio
1 Centrino e/o altre decorazioni a piacere
1 Nastrino o fettuccia di cm 10 di lunghezza (la mia era 1,5 cm di larghezza)
1 bottone
Cordonetto di seta da impunture (opzionale)
Filo in tono
ISTRUZIONI:
Tagliare 4 rettangoli di cm 45 (lunghezza) x 35 (larghezza), 2 per l’esterno e 2 per la fodera della borsa.
Tagliare due rettangoli di cm 86 (lunghezza) x 10 (larghezza) per il manico (ed eventualmente anche uno strato di imbottitura leggera).
Applicare il centrino e le altre decorazioni a mano fissandoli con dei piccoli punti nascosti.
Unire le fasce del manico, rovescio contro rovescio, (eventualmente doppiarle con l’imbottitura leggera) e fare delle impunture (volendo con un cordonetto di seta da impunture) parallele nel senso della lunghezza spaziandole di 1 cm (o quanto vi piace). Lasciare i margini a vivo o rifinirli con la forbice a zigzag.
Cucire i due rettangoli dell’esterno borsa dritto contro dritto lungo i tre lati (esclusa apertura) a 1 cm. Fare lo stesso con la fodera. Rigirare sul dritto e stirare i margini aperti.
Creare la stondatura degli angoli della borsa (sia all’esterno che alla fodera) appiattendo gli angoli inferiori fino ad una larghezza di 7 cm. Cucire l’angolo per traverso, piegarlo verso l’alto e fissarlo a mano.
Piegare separatamente l’esterno e la fodera di 5 cm verso il rovescio. Infilare la fodera dentro l’esterno borsa, rovescio contro rovescio, (i margini ripiegati sono ora entrambi compresi tra i due strati) e appuntare i due strati tutt’intorno.
Se, come è successo a me, la fodera risulta leggermente più abbondante dell’esterno e fa delle piegoline in eccesso (per differenze di elasticità del tessuto) cucire rientrando di qualche millimetro per parte all’altezza della ripiegatura del bordo superiore della fodera.
Cucire ora l’esterno alla fodera tutt’intorno all’apertura a pochi millimetri dal bordo.
Applicare (cucendo un rettangolo con una croce in mezzo) i manici ai due lati opposti della borsa posizionandoli a 7 cm dal bordo superiore e centrati rispetto alle cuciture laterali.
Fare l’asola sulla fettuccia a seconda del diametro del bottone e cucirli ai lati rispettivi della borsa centrandoli rispetto all’apertura.
E questo è il mio risultato.
