… but being a bit puzzled because they don’t let you catch them!

With a bit of running around with daddy …
And at last what a nice way to wait for dinner to get ready reading some comics with a very patient Grandad!
Some more presents arrived in the post for Orli few days ago.
A brand new portable tool set.
A lovely idea from uncle Andrew, auntie Vanessa, Agnes and Eddie!
Now we are ready to test them on the new work bench that daddy made.

Now that is all quiet again, after Xmas business and flu recovery, I’ve got some time to sum up some of the lovely presents that Orli received from daddy, mummy, relatives and friends.
After the morning milk lets get ready for Xmas day!
Here is from daddy a poster and a magazines of his favorite character, Sam the fireman.
Some play-doh stamps from auntie Jane, uncle Simon, Millie and Freya.
Multitasking toy telephone from Isabella, Marco e Pietro.
You never make a mistake giving Orli cars to play with, auntie Jane knows.
Stripy multicolored wool mittens also from auntie Jane, uncle Simon, Millie and Freya.
Some tangerines and chocolate money for the stocking.
There are two beautiful coloring books with some crayons in that package…
Then there is a lovely smart shirt from auntie Jane, uncle Simon, Millie and Freya.
And what about this amazing work bench all handmade by daddy, full of tools, hooks, holes so much to play with!
Mummy has been sewing a stick man from one of Orli’s favorite book character.
Two packets of little animals, from the jungle and the farm, from Jane, Simon, Millie and Freya.
And two more of his currently favorite cuttlery, also from Jane, Simon, Millie and Freya.
And to finish this great building blocks set from Christina, Georg, jakob and Kaspar.
I’m glad all the presents where very much appreciated and useful … aren’t you a lucky boy Orli?! And there’s more to come…!
In realtà ho compiuto 38 anni il 30 Novembre ma mi ritrovo solo ora a raccontarne la giornata e i regali (alcuni) ricevuti.
Iniziare la giornata facendo colazione al bar e finirla soffiando le candeline di una torta fatta dalla mamma … i piccoli grandi piaceri di un compleanno.
Grazie ai miei suoceri per la loro card; a Marta e Chiara per i loro FAVOLOSI guanti da desperate housewife;
alla mia adorabile cognata per questa magnifica card in primo piano e alle mie nipotine per la loro, piena di baci e abbracci volanti.
Grazie anche alla mia amica sorella minore Carlotta per avermi regalato questo splendido libro della mostra di Valentino all’Ara Pacis con delle foto spettacolari!

Ecco che cosa ho trovato in garage una sera che, insospettita dall’aria “indaffarata” di wondermike, sono andata a curiosare …
… segni evidenti di lavori in corso, utensili giocattolo di Orlando, mmmmhhhh qui gatta ci cova …
… mi sa che sta costruendo qualcosa per Orlando ma non si saprà nulla ho paura fino a Natale.
Sì, mi sa che quest’anno sono riuscita a coinvolgere anche daddy nel homemade-handmade regali mania.
Questa splendida foto è stata scattata dalla cucina di casa dei miei suoceri. E’ arrivata all’improvviso un sacco di neve da loro.
Come mi piacerebbe essere lì ora … l’atmosfera, la gioia, la frenesia natalizia sono sensazioni meravigliose che non ho mai provato così intense come a casa dei miei suoceri, evviva le famiglie numerose!

This time I thought was nice to show him Orli watching Pingu with his teddy bear.
Grannie made him this teddy when he was little and it’s still is in pretty good conditions.
He gets comfy of the sofa and cuddles up with teddy.
Time for bath then bed daddy, night night. We miss you loads!
… allora vale la pena aprire una buona bottiglia di rosso (anche questa cosa più unica che rara da noi) e brindare!
La tavola è apparecchiata con più cura del solito (eh sì Valentina, piace anche a me!).
Un’insalatona multicolore ravviva il centro tavola ma il piatto forte aspetta fumante.
Un mega piatto di ragù! Questa è stata la nostra domenica a pranzo, nulla di starordinario lo so, ma per me è tutta da ricordare.
Che si fa oggi pomeriggio Orli?
Beh, perchè non rimpolpiamo un po’ la collezione dei quadretti di famiglia con qualche nuova acquisizione fotografica?
E al tempo stesso ripetiamo all’infinito i nomi di questa zia, quel nonno, quel cuginetto o cuginetta e via così?
Ecco sì, facciamo così che mi sembra un’attività sufficientemente creativa e al tempo stesso ti rinsalda i legami familiari, no?
Che ne dici Orli, ti piace? E’ un siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii quello, vero? 🙂
Bene, allora è deciso, family wall sia! E con l’occasione finiamo anche di attaccare le ultime foglie trovate al nostro filo stagionale.
